Keep a copy of your backups on the cloud!
Get rid of costly backup procedures
Backing data up using traditional tape and spinning disk methods is expensive and time-consuming. Veeam Cloud Connect allows you to upload your backup files directly to our Veeam repository quickly and easily.
Follow the 3-2-1 rule
Cloud Connect allows users to keep three copies of any data on two different formats and one copy remotely. Using this simple rule of thumb, Veeam Cloud Connect users can be sure that their data is secure.
Use your data the way you want
Recovering individual files or whole virtual machines used to be a nightmare. Using Veeam Cloud Connect, restoring individual files or whole virtual machines is only a few clicks away right from your Veeam console.
How does Veeam Cloud Connect work?
Here is a brief description of how our tool works and keeps your data secure.
- Assign our respository
Using the Veeam 8 console, the user assigns ThinkOn as a repository for their backup copy jobs.
- Data upload
Once the repository is configured and a backup copy job initiated, the data will be uploaded over the internet into our Tier 3 data facility.
- Enterprise-grade Infrastructure
Our cloud gateway acts like an aircraft control tower and directs your data to a Veeam repository residing on a Tier II storage node. Your data has reached its final destination.
- Data Retrieval
When you need to restore data, whether it is an individual file or virtual machine, the data makes the journey through out of the repository, through the cloud gateway and back to your Veeam server.
